Flint Hill a reckless motorcycle was reported on Cresthill Drive. The complainant said a motorcycle passed at an extreme speed.
On Dec. 4 at 11:20 p.m. at the intersection of Route 678 and U.S. 211, Erin Myers of Washington struck a black cow that was standing in the roadway. A spokesperson for the state police said, “She might not have seen it until she hit it.” The woman was injured and had to be transported from the scene to a hospital. The cow was killed. Myers was driving a ‘97 Geo and the car was totaled with estimated repairs at $7000.
On Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. on U.S. 211 in Sperryville an accident occurred between two vehicles. Lara Ball of Richmond was driving a ‘91 Nissan. She came around a curve on a upgrade and went across the solid line. She struck Ruth Smith of Luray who was driving an ‘86 Jeep. Ball went into the guard rail on the other side of the road. And Smith slid across the road and hit an embankment. Ball was charged with reckless driving. Minor injuries were sustained by the passenger in the Jeep.
