Don’t forget the Amissville United Methodist Christmas Pageant this weekend on Sunday Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. The “Littlest Angel” is the name of the production. The children have put a lot of time and effort into the play, so come on out and see.
I see a lot of people have the icicle lights up. They really make your house light up. We went this weekend and picked out our tree. We got a Blue Spruce with a root ball on it, so we could plant it after Christmas. Most people don’t realize that you can get a live tree for almost the same price as a cut one. Our tree is six foot with a 18 inch ball. When you put it in the house, and stand it up in a tire, cover the tire with plastic and put your tree skirt on, it looks great and you are saving a tree. Our tree was only $46, you can’t go to a nursery in the spring and get a Blue Spruce for that, let alone a six foot one. If you want to ; e mine, come on over.
