David is also very active in Boy Scout Troop

David is also very active in Boy Scout Troop 36 in Washington. He is beginning to work on his Eagle Scout Project of an outdoor classroom at the Rappahannock Elementary School. David will receive the Congressional Medal of Honor Bronze Award in May. He performed 100 hours of community service, 50 hours personal development and 50 hours of physical fitness and planned an overnight expedition. For his community service, he worked as a Cloverbud volunteer, *■ put books on tape for a remedial .Vreading class and helped in the Rappahannock Elementary School Library. He is beginning to work on his Silver Congressional Medal. David is a Rappahannock Scholar who enjoys Science, History and Geography. He attends Washington Baptist Church and is an active member of the Youth Group. In his spare time, he enjoys working on the computer, listening to music, being outdoors and working on the family farm. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie Jr. of 5 Amissville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie Sr. of Amissville and Mr. n. and MrS7 Hugh Furmage of Falls T Church. . r;
