• Congratulations to the members of the Rappahannock County Technology Students Association who brought home a number of trophies when they attended the Regional Competition recently.
The System Control Team of Jonathan Bankston, Erica Hilscher and Nathaniel Griffin built a can-crusher that earned second place, Bruce Brown and Stuart Hensley won third Place for a video that they created. Brian Taylor won first place for Prepared Presentation. Stuart Hensley placed third in Electrical Applications.
At Level II, Ian Blubaugh, Matt Wolfe and Marshall Gangel won first place with a Portable Paint Mixer. Jeremy Graves won both a second in Manufacturing Prototype and a third in Prepared Presentation. Katrina Smoot placed second in Prepared Presentation. Heather Hensley won first place for Manufacturing Prototype and third for Technical Researchand Report Writing. Chris Payne won third for Engineering Graphic Analysis.
All TSA winners will move on to the State Competition in Hampton on April 15.
