The recent Rappahannock News articles highlighted a proposed development plan, which included a 300 acre business/commercial park and the potential for high density residential in the Amissville area. Is this what the residents want? Can anything be done to assure our county retains the character that we all enjoy? Are there lessons to be learned from neighboring county’s experiences? Can we be in control of what growth occurs in our community?
All these issues and your questions on current developments will be addressed at the next Amissville Area Community Association (AACA) meeting on Friday, April 14 at the Amissville Fire Rescue Hall. The meeting will include presentations cosponsored by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection (RLEP).
