Game scheduled for Sunday
The Monarchs will host their first game on Sunday, May 6 against Page County at 2 p.m. at the ball field behind the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Band Boosters to meet

DMV Mobile Center coming
The Department of Motor Vehicles’ Motor Customer Service Center will visit the Town of Washington on Monday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center will be located on the Washington Fire Department grounds. The DMV on wheels offers most services that you'll find in office locations.
Mobile services include driver’s license exams and road tests, vehicle registration and titling, driving records and photo identification cards. If your driver’s license expires within the next two years, you can renew ahead of time at the mobile unit.
This weekend at Blue Moon
Trust Me will be performing on Friday, May 4 at Blue Moon Cafe just west of Sperryville. Stevie G & The Leisure Scientists will perform on Saturday, May 5.
Queen contestants sought
Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company is now seeking contestants for their annual Carnival Queen, ages 1320; Jr. Miss, ages 8 to 12; Little Miss, ages 3 to 7 and Little Mister, ages 3 to 7.
