high school goal. Adrienne Moore and Jenny Waters followed soon after to make it 3-0 at the half. The second half was all Rappahannocks with Adrienne Moore adding another tally to make it 4-0.
The Rappahannock girls had 18 shots in the first half and thirteen shots in the second. The score would have been much higher without some incredible work between the pipes by the Manassas Park goal keeper.
The Rapp keeper, sophomore Robin Pivarnik, only needed one ::ave in the entire game to preserve the shut out. The girls team now stands 4-2 overall and the same in the Bull Run District.
The boys game was more of the same with the Panthers shooting twenty times in the first half. While dominating the game, Rapp could only manage one tally bv the half.
That score came from senior exchange student, Miguel Gaviria, who blasted one in the Cougar goal midway through the first half. Rapp continued to dominate in the second half shooting an additional twelve times. This offensive pressure caused the Manassas Park defense to finally collapse and they surrendered three goals in a fifteen minute period. The final score w'as Rapp 4-0.
Gaviria had two goals on the day and senior Daan Riemeijer and sophomore Ralph Pace, each added one. The boys soccer record is now 5-1-1 overall and they are alone in second place behind the district-leading Brentsville squad.
