On Saturday, April 28 Rappahannock Democrats elected five delegates to the 10th Congressional District Democratic Convention to be held this year in Warrenton on May 19. The delegates representing Rappahannock are Henry Gorfein, Meredith Gorfein, Kent Reeve, Bob Weinberg and Wendy Weinberg.
These delegates will be joined by 312 delegates from the rest of the 10th Congressional District. Together they will select the 20 members from this District who will serve on the State Steering Committee and who will help shape the policies and platform of the Democratic Party of Virginia.
The primary focus of the Caucus, however, was the consideration of a number of resolutions. Thirteen resolutions had been submitted to the Caucus by the Issues Committee of the local Democratic Committee.
