Two young female athletes, sophomore Rachel Sharp and freshman Ryisha Cook, continue to impress opposing athletes and teams with their play and performance. Both girls had good weeks and Sharp set a school record by pitching a perfect game, on Wednesday, against Luray High School’s varsity softball team.
Other than those individual efforts, Panther teams were not as hot as they were the week before. However, the soccer and softball teams are in the thick of things as we near the halfway point of the spring seasons.
Young Cook continues to dazzle the track community with her blinding speed on the District tracks.
