In order to become a volunteer caller, you need to haye had a mammogram, know about mammography and believe in its importance, and be likely to know other women who have not had mammograms. You also need to relate well to others, to be supportive and empathetic, and to be motivated to see the project through to completion.

The training is brief and the telephone contacts can be made from home by phone to women you already know. You can contact them at a time and place that is convenient for you (and them). By doing this, you may help save the life of a friend or family member.
