In recent years the Sperryville Cemetery has suffered from a lack of maintenance and attention. It needs to be restored to a condition that would honor our loved ones who have been placed there. Please join the group on Saturday, June 2 beginning at 8 a.m. and lend your support in this endeavor. Bring whatever tools you have that may be of use in general cleanup and trash removal, trimming grass around headstones and markers, pruning shrubs and trees, etc. Cold drinks and snacks will be provided. The gates to the cemetery steps were removed approximately six months ago, anyone with information is encouraged to call Carson Johnson at 987-8720.
