• Congratulations to the RCHS 2001-2002 SCA Officers: Phillip Thomas, President; Tony Starks, VicePresident; Amber Allen. Secretary; Sara Mills, Treasurer. The leadership potential of this group of students promises great things!
• RCHS parent Margaret Wiese, our new nurse/receptionist, has enormous blue, hairy feet?!? David Massie is a buxom blond?!? For those of you who missed Spirit Week at RCHS last week, these and many other strange things were observed throughout the school!
• Last Thursday night, RCPS Band students from grades 7-12 traveled to Shenandoah University to participate in classes with SU student tutors. Later in the evening they were treated to a concert performed by Shenandoah Conservatory students. Many thanks to RCHS ‘parent Kathryn Treanor for arranging this trip for our students, and to the adults who accompanied the students.
They were were Fay Smoot, Jay Monroe, Kathryn Treanor, Ron Makela, Marrietta Verrill, and Cady Soukup.
