Christmas banquet, service Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church will have a Christmas banquet on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. at the Washington fire hall. Dr. Jerry Whitehead will be preaching and the Yoder Family will be singing. Dr. Whitehead will also conduct the Sunday services on Dec. 16 at Gid Brown Church at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Christmas services at Reynolds Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church on Main Street in Sperryville invites the community to their special Christmas services. A children’s musical, “All I Want for Christmas,” will be presented Sunday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. This lively musical tells the story of Lindsay and her cool “toy” friends who come alive to tell her the story of the first Christmas and help her discover the true meaning of the season. Traditional carols and delightful “character” songs help make this a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas. The choral cantata will be presented on Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. at Reynolds Memorial. A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m.
