He said that the School Council was in the process of examining roles and responsibilities, and that the restructuring process would commence at a School Council meeting on Dec. 12. Many of the other changes recommended in the audit have already been effected. Dr. Gangel reported.
Dr. Gangel recommended that Dec. 24, 25, 26 and 31 of 2001, and Jan. 1 of 2002 be holidayr for twelve month employees, and the Board agreed. He also presented draft ten and twelve month calendars for the 2002-2003 school year, and the Board will review these and take action at a future meeting.
He noted too that the Rickmond Engineering report on athletic facilities is due out this week, and that the report will be distributed to committee members, and a method for its broader dissemination will be discussed.
