Mr. Smith also reported on developments in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. He presented the Board with a “Preliminary Draft Six Year Plan for IB in Rappahannock County Public Schools,” and with a copy of the application form that is due by June 1, 2002. He noted that he. Principal Joe Perrine, and four teachers recently attended a weekend IB training workshop and that all returned enthused about the program.
