The deer harvest in Rappahannock is down' slightly this year, according to Game Warden Jim Bankston. Although totals for the number of deer killed won’t be available until later in the season, Mr. Bankston said the weak economy and looser bag limits in Shenandoah Valley counties have resulted in fewer out-of-coiinty hunters coming into Rappahannock this year.
