are very few rescue squads who can meet the requirements! We face several choices to combat the problem, new E.M.T.’s, combine squads to meet the required numbers or hire people. The latter is not the best idea but unless we get the community’s help, guess what?
1 am a taxpayer too as well as all the other people who serve in our county’s fire and rescue companies. We don’t want a tax increase any more than the next person. So that’s where you come in, please get involved with your fire and rescue company. Volunteer your time and skills to help the great people who are already doing their share.
