Jimmy Bruno, the celebrated jazz guitarist, returns to the Theatre at Washington, Va. on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. It will be his fourth appearance in “Little Washington” in as many years.
Bruno is recognized as one of the most important guitarists of his generation. He brings the highest level of musicianship to every performance, combining remarkable speed and dexterity on the guitar with a passionate sense of style and taste.
Bruno’s new album on Concord Jazz is entitled “Midnight Blue.” It features the virtuoso performance on bass of fellow Philadelphian, Gerald Veasley, who will be performing with Bruno at the Theatre on Feb. 23.
