Basketball

On Tuesday night, Feb. 12 the basketball teams traveled to Madison County High School for their final district games of the season. Hoping to not finish the regular season without a win, the varsity was determined to ruin the evening for the hosting Mountaineers. But it was not to be.
The Varsity fell to Madison as junior Greg Jackson led all RCHS scorers wath 12. The Rapp team finished the regular season (Bull Run Districtl 0 and 12 ... overall for the year, they were 2 and 18. It has been a rough season for the Panthers but the program continues to look to the future.

The Varsity Panthers will travel to Clarke County High School on Tuesday, Feb. 19 and take on the Eagles in the first round of the District Tournament.
The Junior Varsity had a different story to tell at Madison on the 12th, as they exploded in the fourth quarter, and went on to win. This victory set up a playoff game with Clarke County’s JV and a chance to grab second place.
The Letsen twins combined to score 40 points in the win and Eric Phillips added 16. The JV win makes the future look bright for the Panther program.
