that improving communication between parents and the school was a top priority. Use of informal meetings, such as this one. would be a benefit to all.
Thoughtful questions from the parents helped Mr. Moates get a handle on the concerns of the families at WCDS. and it was apparent, at the meeting’s end. that the parents felt that they. too. had experienced a good rapport with the administration.
• Next week is Winter Break for the students and teachers at our school. Many families are heading somewhere warmer, but quite a few will be joining the school’s ski trips. Wintergreen is always a favorite with the Prep School crowd, and Montreal is again the choice of the Lower School French classes. Now all we need is snow7!
For those students not traveling during this break, the consensus seems to be pajamas and cartoons. Add a box of Russell Stover's candy, and I'm there!
