Life Stories Workshops help people write and share their life stories Registration has opened for these workshops taught by Julie Portman. The three-day introductory workshop will take place Friday. Saturday, and Sunday. March 8-10. For more information or to register, call Ki Theatre at 987-3164.

Ragged Mountain activity

The following hike is scheduled through the Ragged Mountain Resource Center and additional information may be obtained by calling Director Hunt Harris at 987-3366,

Tuesday. Feb. 26. Moonlight Hike of Old Rag, meet between 5:30 and 7 p.m. at upper parking lot for Old Rag on Nethers side off US 211 and Route 600. Bring layerable clothing. nourishment for self and back-up light. Level: Moderateto strenuous and very magical.

Comity runners invited

On Saturday. Feb. 23 the Shenandoah Valley Runners will host the Predicted Time 5K at Frederick County Middle School in Winchester and Rappahannock runners are invited Runners will predict their 5K times before the race and prizes will be given to the people whose predictions come the closest to their actual times

The race will start at 9:30 a m . registration begins one hour earlier. Entry fees are S3 for members: $4 for non-members and S1 for students Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome. Call 635-7539 for information or visit www.svrunners.org/ws/.

Fodderstack race day set

The 24th annual Fodderstack race will be held on Saturday. April 20 Registration fees remain the same at S20 per person. For additional information call 675-5330

Clinic -will be open Feb. 20

The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation of the Fauguier Free Clinic Inc., is currently open on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of each month. The clinic will be open Wednesday. Feb. 20 and not again until March 6
