The JV team traveled to Strasburg High School to play the Clarke JV team on Saturday, Feb. 16. It was a great game by anyone’s standards and a thriller to the end. Down by one point with 20 seconds in the game, 51 to 50, the JV Panthers missed their opportunity and lost the game. The final score was 54 to 50.
The next day Coach Settle said, “It was a terrific game. We missed too many free throws and some key chances, but overall, the boys did everything we asked of them and we are really proud of what they’ve accomplished. Going out in a big playoff game like this was the only way to end it.”
