for EBT
program set
According to Sharon Pyne at the Rappahannock Social Service.-, Department, Rappahannock will begin using Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) on March 1,2002.
EBT is the distribution of food stamp benefits with a plastic debit card which will replace the paper food stamp coupons.
Client training is set for Feb. 28, however, current food stamp recipients will get letters assigning a time and date.
Any food stamp recipient with questions should call the Rappahannock Department of Social Services at 675-3200.
