The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids from firms to market the former Aileen property, located on Aileen Road near the village of Flint Hill.
The property consists of approximately 30 acres zoned “I", Industrial, with an existing masonry and metal former factory building of approximately 99.000 square feet. The property was the subject of Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields redevelopment initiative, and is permitted for redevelopment under the terms of an agreement with DEQ.
All bids should be submitted in a letter clearly identifying the company providing the service, be signed by the principal of the firm, and shall note any exclusions or limitations. The basis for the bid shall also be stated: for this agreement, a listing agreement of six months' duration price shall be stated, with options for renewal. Please include fee schedule for specific services offered, final commission, etc. All bids must be received at the County Administrator's Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Friday, March 1, 2002, by 3:00 PM., at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
l,The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as set forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply. Bids shall be evaluated on the basis of (in descending order) price, experience, services offered. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reiect any or all bids.
