Grundberg, a former critic for the New York Times, is author of Crisis of the Real: Writings on Photography since 1974 and the curator of the traveling exhibition “In Response to Place: Photographs from The Nature Conservancy's Last Great Places,” which opened last fall at the Corcoran Gallery of Art.
