Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company is having a benefit auction on Saturday, May 11. Donated items must be in good condition and appliances must be in working condition. For pickup of items call 937-4954, 937-4218, 937-5282 or 937-5125.
Representative
to visit Town
Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington on Thursday, May 16.
Mrs. Crowley will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature, such as with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration pind Naturalization Service, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc.
Citizens are also welcome to express their opinions on matters of concern, particularly national topics or issues before the United States Congress.
Mrs. Crowley will be at the Rappahannock County Extension Office from 2 to 3 p.m.
