Photo courtesy of Linda Heimstra Pinaconda comes to Little Washington: On the afternoon of April 29, artist Jeanne Drevas, her creation "Pinaconda". and Hearthstone Schools Creative Community class led by Jessica Hasse and Amos Blanton converged on Washington, Va. for a photo shoot. Members of the class Lauren Herrman, Matt Powers, Dylan Weber, Gordon Branchaud. Jenni Scott. Adam Disbrow and Aaron Weisgerber lugged the forty foot long pine needle stuffed in bird netting snake, and draped it over John Kisers pink Cadillac, Mrs. Cox's Tavern railing, the jungle gym at the Rec Center, and finally on to the library where it now rests along the length of two stacks of books. This is the third in a series of pine needle- installations that Jeanne Drevas has done and this creation will travel on to the Washington D.C. area for monthly residencies at various locations.
