The Junior High Youth at Amissville Baptist Church will be walking in the Relay for Life on May 17. Help support the cancer fund drive and sponsor these children. We still have the Xtreme Believers for the Sr. High. These youth groups meet on Sunday evenings. For more information contact the church office at 937-6159.
The Bethel Baptist Church has a group called the Spiritual Walkers, walking in the Relay for Life. They have collection cans at Hackley’s and Mayhugh’s. Please support these great Christian women. If you would like to send a check contact Jennifer Gray.
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department carnival dates have been .set. They are June 26-29. Tickets for the queen and her court are available from Sandi Carter at 937-4218. The ages are as follows: Little Miss 3-7, {Junior Miss 8-12, Little Mister 3-7, and Queen 13-20. • ’ The parade is Thursday {June 27. If you would like to participate call J.B. Carter at 937-4218. ‘ Amissville Baptist Vacation Bible School will take the children on an aweteome river trip in spectacular SonCanyon! During their SonCanyon River Adventure, £hey’ll learn survival skills For life, based on Proverbs - Follow God’s Instructions, Choose Friends Wisely, Make (Peace, Show Respect, and Trust Jesus! ; Young SonCanyon explorers will love learning outdoor skills, making canyon crafts, singing cool canyon songs and playing games like “shoot the rapids.”
The sign up carnival is July 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. Come meet your child’s teacher. If Vpu are planning for your Hiild to attend, you will need to sign him/her up on this
