All the girls are doing a great job of spreading out and passing to the open person as they move the ball up the field. That teamwork is almost as exciting as the goal scoring. We’re starting to see some pretty footwork with the ball as well. Meredith Reeve did a wonderful job of maintaining possession in front of Culpeper’s goal though she was surrounded by defenders. ' Great work girls!
In a hard-fought game against Orange 1, the U-10 Dragons came up just short of a win, losing 3-1; Zack Wayland provided Rapp’s lone . score., Christopher Jenkins and Johnny Pullen played aggressively on both sides of the ball, while tenacious foot,‘work by Dustin Milam and \ Samson Raby added additional excitement to a beautiful soccer Saturday.
The U-10 Terminators played Culpeper 1 with an outstanding win for Rappahannock with ending score of 5-4. Goals were scored ‘ by Bennett Eastham ( 4 ) and Bryan Shafran (1). Brett Heddleston was our defensive star of the game. Congratulations Terminators!
