Farmers to

meet at

Miller’s farm

The spring Rappahannock Farmers’ Association quarterly meeting will be held this year at Cliff Miller’s Mount Vernon Farm on Sunday, May 19 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Mt. Vernon is one of the oldest farms in the County and Cliff Miller has been working hard to make sure that his farm remains viable and productive into the 21st Century.

Mt. Vernon Farm is now a diversified agricultural enterprise that will remain an intact farm for generations to come. Mr. Miller will give a brief overview of how the focus of his farm has changed over the years and provide the group with an informative farm tour.

Other items on the agenda include: nominations for new officers; 2002 dues; subcommittee reports; a report on the new regional agricultural development committee; and plans for the summer meeting.

Plan to attend the spring meeting and share the fun with your fellow farmers and those interested in farming in Rappahannock County.

Refreshments will be served. For directions and other information, call 937-6124.
