Twenty-three Rappahannock County 4-H members participated in the 2002 Northern District 4-H Contests at the Madison County High School on Saturday, April 20. There are 19 districts represented in the Northern District.

Alana Cloud, Lakota Coon, Mia Lucking, Tiana Lucking, Devin Day, Caroline Massie, Aaron Oyster, Mitchell Galloway, Rebecca Oyster, Kimberly Sealock received second place ribbons.

Carly Day, Ashley Riggleson, Krista Riggleson, Brooke Thorpe, Elizabeth Pratt, Steven Nelson, Laura Wheatley, Megan Wheatley and Sarah Wheatley received first place blue ribbons for their presentations.

Brian Taylor, Nathan Welch, Bruce Flinchum and Ruth Ann Oyster, all senior 4H members received first place blue ribbons and will be representing Rappahannock County 4-H at the State, Competition at Virginia Tech in June.

We are all very proud of the accomplished 4-H members.
