services. In a letter to Mayor Willis and the Town Council. Ms. Kuhn asked the ordinance be changed "in a way that would allow my bed and breakfast a wider range of uses."
Specifically, she asked that the Middleton Inn be permitted additional uses including "catering events and weddings and providing hospitality services to the community and the public ..."
At Ms. Kuhn's request, Town Zoning Administrator John McCarthy prepared a "straw man" of amendments to the zoning ordinance that would enable the Town Council to approve the new uses, should they so desire. These amendments consist the addition of "catering services (off-site)" as a new "by right" use; "Country Inn" as a new "special permit" use; and a definition of "Country Inn."
