anniversary party for 4-H, games, gardening demonstrations, Civil War reenactment, horse shoe throwing contest, super farmer contest, woodsman contest, local fire and rescue departments, face painting, barbecue and country ham dinners, round robin animal show, skydiving demonstration, farm tours, and a horse and mule pull and jumping contest to name a few.
Returning favorites are as follows: open pet shows, Little Miss and Mr. C-M-R Farm Fair contests, livestock shows, animal costume classes, and a country auction!
Did you know our Homemaker's Building has numerous classes open to the public? Baked goods, garden vegetables, farm crops, woodworking, photos, flowers, and sewing are only a few classes that you can enter. Check with your the Rappahannock Extension Office for entry information, 675-3619.
Along with these wonderful activities comes the need for great food! We are seeking clubs, churches or civic groups interested in being food vendors during our Fair.
Also, we are encouraging any interested volunteers or alumni to be a part of this worthy cause by pledging time or talents to make our Fair a success!
