Rappahannock residents responded immediately to Lions Club emergency appeals for assistance to Southwest Virginia flood victims last month. Three full pick-up truck loads of canned goods, cleaning supplies and clothing were delivered to the Northern Virginia collection point at Dumfries. County elementary and high school students br ought in 450 cans of food.
Donna Fay Cannon, student of Mrs. Wilhelmina Amiss of Culpeper, will give her graduate piano recital in the auditorium of RCES on May 15. Donna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cannon is a graduating senior at Rappahannock County High and will attend Madison College in the fall. She has won a National Piano Guild Certificate for six years and this year her high school diploma in music.
