The Rappahannock PEC
would like to thank all who participated in the first step of our Corridors for Wildlife Program. The Bluebird Box project was very successful in adding to the blue dot trail on our corridor map.
We would like to extend a special thank you to John Norman’s Building and Maintenance Class at Rappahannock County High School for making the boxes.
For the next step of our program we would like to focus on ? the nurturing of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. We have made available at our office potted Monardas — more commonly known as bee balm. It is easy to grow and is a g(x>d provider of food for the bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
