Robert William Adams, 78, of Washington. D.C.. formerly of Flint Hill, died Thursday, April 25 at Southern Maryland Hospital in Forestville.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, May 1 at Turner-Robertshaw Furr,ral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Howard Frye. Burial was in Culpeper National Cemetery.
Mr. Adams was bom May 17, 1923 in Flint Hill, son of the late Eldward Lew is and Amanda Russell Adams.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Adams was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill and Elks Post 486 in Front Royal.
Surviving are his wife, Ida Elizabeth Ford Adams; a son, Robert W. Adams -Jr.; two stepsons, Robert E. Wise and William Morton Wise, all of Washington.
