Council members seemed generally supportive of the additional uses, but agreed with Mayor Willis' suggestion that "catering services" be changed from a "by right" to a "special permit" use, and appeared to be uncomfortable with the likelihood that the "Country Inn" category, as defined, could lead to a proliferation of new restaurants. The Council agreed with Mr. Bennett's suggestion that he "take a crack at" redefining the proposed new category and reworking the "straw man" ordinance amendments, and he should have his suggestions available for discussion at the Town Council's regular May meeting on May 8.
