Rappahannock News Photo Barbara C. Wayland Monday, Aug. 26 was the first day of school for children in the Rappahannock County Public School System. Enrollment figures were 571 at the elementary school 445 at the high school for a total of 1,016 to begin the school year. Miss Liz Eastham, an aide at RCES, is busy working with the younger children as they prepare for the first day.
