He li be a business management major on a ROTC scholarship. His scholarship pays his tuition for four years and gives him a monthly allowance. Of course for that he has to maintain his grades and meet strict physical fitness standards. He also will' take two ROTC courses every semester, has to wear a uniform once a week, and every summer for those four years he’ll give one month to the Marines for training.
At the end of those four years, he’ll graduate and enlist as an officer in the Marine Corp.
Garner has always been involved in sports and played soccer everywhere he lived. He said it was great coming to a small school like Rappahannock because he got to try out some new sports, like wrestling which he did for his two years here. It was a lot of fun, and he felt it helped him become more well-rounded.
Sitting is very tough for Garner, and he doesn’t read as much as he thinks he should; he just can’t sit still
