Mrs. Lillie Mae Pullen, 83, of Sperryville died Friday, Aug. 23, at her home after a long period of declining health. She was the widow of the late Clyde William Pullen, who died in February 1999.
Mrs. Pullen was born Jan. 28, 1919, in the Gid Brown Hollow section of Rappahannock County at her father s home which was taken as part of Shenandoah National Park. She was the daughter of the late Thomas “Boot” Dwyer and his late wife, Emily Burke Dwyer.
United in holy matrimony in 1935, she and her late husband were married for more than 63 years.
