3. The computer makes “camera ready copy” easily available to many newspapers in the 7th District with little effort on the letter writer’s part. This is one way a powerful national lobby like the NRA can intrude itself into many communities, including ours, on the assumption that our hunters can’t distinguish between their own interests and those of gun merchants.
4. All rights bring with them responsibilities. Gun owners and hunters know that as well as they know that the right to own and to drive a car requires that both car and driver be licensed, and, in addition, cars must be inspected and drivers must obey the rules of the road for the protection of us all.
5. From what Mr. Cunningham has to tell us, Ben Jones’ voting record shows that he thought about the issues and made the right choices.
