Commissioner Werner Krebser said that he hated “to rain on the parade again,” and voiced his opposition to the proposed reuse on a number of grounds. He said that the application did not meet the requirements of the Comprehensive Plan nor of the Zoning Ordinance, and that putting a commercial establishment in an agricultural zgne was “not in conformance . . .” and that more applications would be submitted like this and “undo the village concept.”

He also found fault with the site plan, and questioned whether adequate water and sewer facilities were available. Dr. Krebser also complained about the lease of a portion of the property to Wakefield School for bus parking, and asked why that use did not require screening.
