Rappahannock County celebrated the 10th anniversary of Camp Fantastic, Special Love’s hallmark project held at Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal on Aug. 18 with a birthday party, complete with balloons, streamers, costumed clowns, face painters and presents for each camper.
For the last several years, Rappahannock County has sponsored an evening at the camp. This year 87 campers from NIH, camp doctors and counselors attended the event.
Kinsey M. Wharton of Amissville was recently recognized for 20 years of service with the Virginia Department of Transportation.
