Two workshops, led by Jean Elizabeth and held at Ki Theatre, will continue the creation of this play. The workshops with eight weekly sessions on Tuesday or Friday from 4 until 5:15 p.m. will begin the week of Sept. 3. The Tuesday sessions are open to children ages five through 11. The sessions for 12 through the teen years take place on Friday.

The beginnings

Jean Elizabeth is the adult “guiding hand” and Director behind this youth theatre, but it is they who are in charge and provided the start-up juices. It was they who needed the theatre.

Almost all of the founding members of the Rainbow Bridge Youth Theatre had worked with Ms. Elizabeth on numerous productions at the High School like the Birds and Midsummer Night’s Dream and other workshops or plays at Ki Theatre. They loved the camaraderie and the focussed work which went into putting all the pieces of a production together, and they
