Rosie Jane Jenkins, 86, of Culpeper died on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Culpeper Health Care Center.

She was born in Rappahannock County on Oct. 26, 1915. Her parents were the late Haywood Jenkins and Lucille Dodson Jenkins.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband was the late George Booten Jenkins.

Survivors include one brother, Jerry Jenkins of Woodville; one sister, Frances Jenkins of Gordonsville; 10 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and eight greatgreat-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Mildred A. Jenkins; a son, George R. Jenkins; a great-grandson, John Wayne Jenkins Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Christine Fay Jenkins; a great-great-grandson, Ryan Wesley Jenkins; two brothers, Willie Jenkins and Ivan Jenkins and a sister, Nellie Sisk.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Clore-English Funeral Home in Culpeper, with Pastor Wayne Yowell and Pastor Steve Clinedinst officiating.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
