Mr. Dennis, Phil Irwin and Don Audette also expressed concern about access to the site from Route 522 and about traffic turning onto Route 630, and they all supported the construction of a deceleration lane in the front of the building and access to the site from the Route 630 side.
County Zoning Administrator John McCarthy noted that a deceleration had been proposed in VDOT’s Six Year Road Plan “six or seven years ago” but had been turned down by the Board of Supervisors. He also expressed his opinion that funding was unlikely for such a project at this time.
