They were taught how to break down the lines they saw into the alphabet of shape. All felt confident after this lesson that they could do the same for their classes. Ms. Price’s ability to present and communicate this method was credited by her own experience as a teacher.
All lower and middle school classes will be using the Monart Method in developing projects to support their studies of science, literature, foreign language, history and math. With the addition of a twice weekly art class, the students at Wakefield will be well on their way to confidence and self esteem in their own natural creative abilities, flourishing far beyond what was once considered “normal.”
