Another easement
on Bessie Belle
Bob and Olga Ryan have donated a conservation easement that protects 84 acres on “the high ridgeline of Bessie Belle Mountain.”
Acquired as four tracts, the total parcel is prohibited from future subdivision. The countywide easement total now stands at 13,141 acres.
Gateway meeting
slated for Sept. 19

to be in Town
Chaz Evans-Haywood, regional representative for U.S. Senator George Allen will be in Washington at the Rappahannock County Library on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from noon to 2 p.m. He will be available to discuss issues facing the area with constituents and to help anyone having problems with a federal agency.
