Andow’s finales will be held at 1 1/4 miles instead of the regular mile distance, so Standardbreds will compete over the entire two-turn circuit. Virginia racing fans will benefit from this rare chance to see horses at the start and finish of a race.
Virginia Breeders Fund Stake races will again be showcased during the annual harness meet. Two- and 3-year-olds will compete on Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 in eliminations and finals respectively, while 4-6 year-olds will battle on Nov. 2 and 9 in the same format.
