team. Megan Wheatley, Caroline Massie and Marcella Wallace proved to be a dynamic front three. They passed, crossed the ball, stayed spread out and put numerous shots on goal until Marcella buried one in the net. Savanna BoothEnoch found her spot as center midfielder and kept feeding passes to the forwards.
Noel Johns and Emma Dodd-Henze anchored the defensive line, denying any attempts by Orange to move the ball past midfield. Emma moved to forward in the second half and opportunistically sank her first goal into the net. Ella Miller had a quiet first half as goalie but was out front in the second half at forward. She attacked the Orange goal relentlessly and was rewarded with a goal.
Noel Johns was MVP with her powerful play at fullback, booming kicks up to our forwards. All the girls played well, maintaining their shape on the field, passing, backing each other up, and beating the other team to the ball. Great job girls!
